Warning: This post is not a recording of events in the natural world; in fact, it's a bit of a comment on the unnatural (unless you count enjoying yourself to be a natural human inclination). As such I'll keep it short and beg your indulgence.
I went to the Scissor Sisters performance at the Electric Factory concert venue in Philadelphia last night. Kali likes their music, too, but declined to join me for fear of having to stay up way past her bedtime and hurting her ears--both of which the concert did. Ultimately, I don't think that they generated the same tribal energy that they did two years ago in Philly, but I did my fair share of dancing, and the Sisters certainly gave it their all for the crowd even though they're nearing the end of their current American tour.

Nothing unnatural about having a good time, Scott.
I DID have a good time, John--eventually. I went into the concert with the wrong attitude, having just had a little spat with Kali and ruminating on the fact that the Sisters' last album was a bit weak, but I played the album on my way to the concert, and my mood lifted a bit, so I finally got into the groove and enjoyed myself.
