October Afternoon

Hazy sun and (perhaps?) the peak of fall colors in my natural area yesterday.  The first three images were captured at the wetland at the heart of the preserve, and the last two struck me as typical of the trails, the first of which is an abandoned road that has been incorporated into the preserve's trail system.  Enjoy.

HI SCOTT_

lovely pictures - so subdued yet intriguing and so peaceful too. You could have snapped those right out in my yard and woods in back - looks so alike - we are closer than you know.

Love Gail

Thanks, Gail. The afternoon was one of subdued and muted color, but real peace as well, despite the relatively large number of visitors also enjoying the preserve. I need days like that to settle myself.
