Autumn in Miniature

The ripening Northern sea-oat seeds in my garden are a reflection of autumn, with green gradually giving way to yellows and browns.

Thanks for stopping by, Jain, John and ONG. I (obviously) was struck by the sea-oats, too. Though they look backlit in the image, I actually took the picture at 5 p.m. with the sun behind me. They just had a radiance all their own.
