Wow those are all amazing shots. Unfortunately here in Canada, we are long past that pretty stage. Everything has turned to grey November.

All of these pictures are knockouts, so pretty! I love beeches.

Gardener: My wife was born in late November, to which she attributes her generally negative outlook on life. She asks, "What do you expect when you're born in the dark, damp, dreary cold?"

Jain: American beeches are among my favorite trees, even when they're not cloaked in glory.

You should have been an impressionist, Scott. These are fabulous images!

Many thanks, Packrat! These were the best of the images that I took on that glorious autumn afternoon. Today, we've got steady rain, and all the leaves have come off the trees. The beautiful autumn is just a memory captured in images now.
